Donetsk muzdrama opened the jubilee hundredth season premiere
The troupe presented to the public the comedy “Marriage of Balzaminov”
A significant cultural event took place in Donetsk: Donetsk Music and Drama Theater named after M. M. Brovun opened its hundredth anniversary season. This evening, on the main stage, the audience was presented with the first premiere – the sparkling musical comedy “The Marriage of Balzaminov”.
The performance was performed by Honored Artist of Russia Zurab Nanobashvili. The uniqueness of the version lies in the synthesis of dramatic art and vocals: the actors not only pronounce the text, but also perform complex musical parts during movement and dance.
Before the start of the performance, honorary guests – Chairman of the DPR Government Andrei Chertkov and Minister of Culture of the Republic Mikhail Zheltyakov addressed the audience. In turn, Natalia Volkova and the main director of the muzdrama, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasily Masliy shared plans for the new season with Donetsk residents.
