The book about the history of the Kazan Khanate and Moscow Russia will be presented to the Kazan citizens

At the meeting of the book club “Billion.Tatar” and Tatknigoisdat, Candidate of Historical Sciences Anvar Aksyonov will present the book “Kazan Khanate and Moscow Rus”. The event will be held on October 27, reports IA "Tatar-inform".

The meeting was scheduled in the Kazan hotel "Nogai", Trade Union street, the beginning - at 18.00.

The book, based on chronicles, notes of diplomats, examines the relations between the Kazan Khanate and Moscow Russia and the interpretation of those events by contemporaries and descendants.

Attention is also paid to the capture of the city of Kazan in 1552, the Cheremis wars and battles of the XV-XVI centuries, politics and diplomacy.
