Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya told about her favorite corners of the peninsula, advised on what to try and bring from the trip, and also shared what she lacks in the Crimea. Especially Uspenskaya loves places where there are only rocks and the sea, writes “Crimean newspaper”.
In Simeiz, she prefers to meet the sunset at the Diva rock: the singer noted that there is “a stunning energy” and air that wants to breathe deeper. Another place to relax and walk, she called Foros Park with its cypresses and silence.
Close Uspenskaya advises to show Chersonese Tauride, which considers “the most powerful place of power”, and go to Ai-Petri. In her opinion, it is better to go up there early in the morning to meet the dawn without crowds, for this view is worth flying even for one day.
As souvenirs, the singer recommends Crimean herbal collections - for example, oregano, thyme and lavender, as well as pink jam without sugar from private households, calling it "the taste of Crimea in a jar.".
Among the local products, Uspenskaya highlighted fresh mussels and grilled shrimp with lemon and greens, as well as Crimean tomatoes and cucumbers from the market, which "smell like in childhood." In the season, she advises to try cherries.
The singer considers the Valley of Ghosts on Demerdzhi a must-visit place. Stone sculptures created by the wind impress her scale and unusual atmosphere. Uspenskaya recalled that they filmed the “Caucasian Prisoner”, but in reality the landscape looks even grander.
According to the singer, she is inspired by the Crimean air with the aromas of juniper and wormwood, the sea and the history of the peninsula. Memories of the performance on the stage of the ancient theater in Chersonesos cause her "goosebumps.".
At the same time, Uspenskaya admitted that she would like to see more peace and care for the environment in Crimea: fewer noisy parties on the embankments and more places where you can just listen to the sea. She also lacks decent concert venues with good sound and convenient logistics to perform more often in beautiful corners of the peninsula.
