On overhaul of the dilapidated House of Culture in Novomoskovsk found 186 million rubles

Within the framework of the national project "Family" in Novomoskovsk, Tula region, a major overhaul of the building of the House of Culture of the Factory District will be carried out. More than 186 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

Work will be carried out in the building at the address: 1st Transport street, 23A. The area of the object is more than 3.3 thousand square meters, the building has three floors and a basement.

The project includes a comprehensive modernization of the museum space. During the renovation, it is planned to adapt the building to the modern requirements of museum business, update engineering systems, modernize exhibition spaces, create a modern conference room.

Preparatory work and design should be completed by December 10, 2026. The overhaul will last until November 15, 2028.

Particular attention will be paid to the energy efficiency of the building and the creation of comfortable conditions for visitors. The project provides modern heating, ventilation and lighting systems. The building will be equipped with the necessary technological equipment for exhibitions and cultural events.

Recall, as previously wrote “MK in Tula”, the authorities of Novomoskovsk this year promised a second life for the building of Stalin’s construction. It is expected that after the reconstruction, the Museum of Industry will be opened there.
