More than 40 masters of Naryan-Mar gathered on Paraskev-Friday

Paraskeva Friday has become a unifying platform for talented masters. The traditional meeting gathered more than 40 participants of the clubs “Mel’ not”, “Wonders”, “Fairy”, “Syama Kiya” and other masters of the city.

The beginning of the holiday was set by folk songs performed by the folklore ensemble “Powder”, and then the guests were waiting for a review of the events of the final creative season of 2025-2026.

Thanks to the presentation of Zinaida Vlasova, head of the department of decorative and applied creativity, the report became not so much a story about the work of the department as a story about the cooperation of all masters of the region.

A bright moment was the award ceremony of the competition “Master of the Year – 2026”. To the applause of colleagues, memorable souvenirs “Painted Partridge” and certificates were presented to the studio “Wonders” (nomination “Masters Change the World”), Natalia Potasheva (“Mission Is Doable”), Olga Bobrikova (“Craft Leader”), Alexander Kislyakova (“Discovery”), Valeria Kolchina (“Your Way”) and Galina Konkova (“Tradition in Innovation”).

The beautiful completion of the project “Zarni yur” (“Golden Head”) was a demonstration of new clothes, which was held by Olga Kotsyubanskaya together with masters and their models.

“Master game” invited participants to check erudition in the intricacies of the craft, and the decoration of the evening was the performance of the children’s Nenets group “Haniyko” – ringing songs and fervent dances told about the expanses of the native tundra.

The final chord of the meeting was a tea party with fragrant pies: over a cup of tea, the masters made plans for the future, shared their findings and just enjoyed communicating with each other.
