Record number of applications. XV Republican Radio Contest “Malady Talents of Belarus”

Today, on October 26, the XV Republican Radio Contest “Malady Talents of Belarus” was held. He started by watching videos of the competition. Until November 9, the names of the lucky holders of vouchers for the second round will be known. They will have the opportunity to perform in the legendary Big Studio of the House of Radio, writes sb.by.

More than 600 applications were received for participation in one of the most prestigious creative projects of the country - the competition has ended. The event promises to surpass all previous competitions. This year it was supported by the Belarusian Ministry of Culture. Also for the first time announced a new nomination – “Academic vocals”.

The jury of the XV Republican creative radio contest “Maladyya Talents of Belarus” chaired by People’s Artist of Belarus Leonid Zahlevny will evaluate unique works from all over the country.

- I have no doubt that there will be many bright performances. And we will worry about the participants and judge with a good soul, because the competition can become the first step in achieving subsequent victories, the master of Russian music noted at the start.

The winners of the anniversary season will be announced in December. Laureates will receive diplomas and memorable prizes, as well as the opportunity to hear themselves on the national radio. The bright final chord of the project will traditionally be a special edition of the program “Maladyya Talents of Belarus” on the channel “Culture” of the Belarusian Radio, where the best competitive numbers of the winners will be heard.

The project “Small Talents of Belarus” has been held by Belteleradiocompany since 2009. For all the time, more than 5.5 thousand performers and collectives took part in it. Since 2013, prize-winners have been regularly awarded scholarships by the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus to support talented youth.
