In the Kaluga region discovered a new object of cultural heritage

It was found by archaeologists in the village of Gretskoe Kozel district. The monument "Historical cultural layer" dates from the XVII-XIX centuries.

“During the work, scientists found fragments of ceramic vessels of that era – these artifacts help to better understand the life and traditions of our ancestors,” the department for the protection of the cultural heritage of the region said.

They noted that now the site needs special protection - its borders have already been defined, and we have prepared a corresponding order.

As reported by “MK in Kaluga” earlier, the Kalugans were told about the signs on Efimov day.
