Five model libraries and two children’s cultural and educational centers will open in Tuva in 2027

The Republic of Tuva was among the regions that won the selection of subjects of the Russian Federation for the provision of subsidies for the creation of model municipal libraries in 2027. Thanks to federal support, five library spaces of the republic will be transformed into modern sites of a new generation.

The list of grantees includes:

Central District Library of the Centralized Library System of the Kaa-Khemsky District;

Central District Children's Library of Dzun-Khemchik Central Library System;

A. Chekhov Branch Library of the Centralized Library System of Kyzyl;

Balgazy rural branch of the Centralized Library System of the Tandinsky District;

Ust-Elegestin Rural Branch No. 5 of the Centralized Library System of Kyzyl District.

At the same time, the results of the selection for the creation of children’s cultural and educational centers and the promotion of best practices in 2027 became known. In Tuva, children's centers will be opened on the basis of two libraries:

Bulun-Bazhin Rural Library of Erzin District;

Khadyn Rural Branch of Pia-Khemsk CBS.

In addition, the Central District Model Children’s Library of Sut-Holsky District will receive an incentive for best practices.

The implementation of projects will create a comfortable environment for readers in the republic, expand opportunities for cultural and educational leisure, as well as make library services more modern and accessible to residents of cities and villages of Tuva.
