“I love my Motherland with all my soul!”: the volume of Snezhan Kanaki about the all-Russian marathon “Knowledge”. Unity

More recently, she became a participant in the unique marathon “Knowledge”. Unity. It was organized by the Russian Society of Knowledge. The event took place in the International Week of the Peoples of Russia. The choice to Snejana Kanaki fell not by chance. Active, bright, in love with her homeland and life Tomsk is ready to share everything that she knows and enjoys the experience of colleagues.

About yourself and your career choice

I am not one of those people who say: “I dreamed of being a teacher since childhood!”, but my mother is a teacher by education (teacher of Russian language and literature). She worked as a kindergarten teacher for a long time, I used to visit her often and work with children who were not much younger than me, and I always liked it. However, when choosing my future profession, when I went to university, I was guided by the rule “I should be interested in studying.” I entered TSU and TSPU, but almost did not think, chose pedagogical immediately. It seemed to me much closer to the soul, and I did not regret my choice for a minute.

Another person who influenced the choice of profession is a history teacher. Tatiana Mikhailovna supported the young specialist, gave a watch and a class guide. I immediately had to work with the kids.

My children and I became so close that I could not afford to leave them, I wanted to give them everything I could, I literally gave them everything. By the way, we still talk to them. And then it turned around, spinned, I got pleasure when something turned out, a separate satisfaction is participation in competitions and winning. I tried not to stop.

Participation in the full-time stage of the First All-Russian Forum of Class Leaders in Moscow (2021)

- Participation in the World Youth Festival, the federal territory of Sirius (Sochi, 2024)

- Participation in the delegation of the Tomsk region at the forum "We are together" (Moscow, 2025)

Also, events organized by Rosmolodezh, for example, the All-Russian Forum “Baikal” or the All-Russian Forum in Voronezh, were not left out. Last year I went to Kazan for an event dedicated to the day of memory of Musa Jalil.

Forums provide an opportunity to see the country and get to know people better

According to Snezhana Dmitrievna, it is simply amazing to see different places in your country, and in addition, to meet different people.

I love my Motherland with all my soul, with its space and diversity of nationalities. It is through communication with people that we can, first of all, get to know our country and regions, because everyone has their own mentality, everyone has their own device and ways of transferring knowledge to children! It is also an opportunity to communicate and share experiences. Someone, of course, you cross paths once, but there are those with whom I communicate constantly, after such acquaintances. It is amazing to know that in almost every region of our country you have someone to turn to. And I know for sure that the words of people on forums like me, for example, heard this time: “Know that in sunny Buryatia you now have friends” is not an empty sound! At such events, charged people always come to receive and give, so the energy for them is simply incredible. Such trips and participation give me strength to continue working. Without this, I cannot imagine how it is possible to exist in the stream of work that surrounds us daily, says Snezhan.

Ethnocultural education of schoolchildren is one of the favorites, so Kanaki appreciated the participants of the marathon, the opportunity to see people in national costumes, listen to their stories, learn the details of color and ornament of products.

- Incredibly informative! It's part of interpersonal communication. And the main program was built in such a way that we were divided into groups, each had its own track and tracks were filled with meetings with interesting and important people for our country. Each of them told their own success story, or their achievements, had the opportunity to have a lively dialogue, you could ask interesting questions. Perhaps the most memorable performances for me were a few.

Yuri Bashmet shared his story of communication with the English Queen and Princess Diana. Of course, his vision of the Russian cultural code was also interesting.

Damir Yusupov, a pilot, shared his story and proved that you can and should realize your dreams.

I was amazed by the stories of Heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The whole room was unanimously "outraged" that the meeting was so short, because you can listen to their stories endlessly.

Alexander Khinshtein, Governor of the Kursk region shared the problems that arise and how people unite to solve them.

The teacher noted that each hero was unique. Some of them are members of the WWII, others of the WWII. Also among the figures of culture, politics, science, education, astronauts, mother - heroine. And each of them talked about how to educate a person that the country will be proud of.

The conclusion was made simple: you need to be real yourself and do what you believe in, then in any field there will be success.

About the most memorable blocks and guests

As the participant said, during the marathon there was a lot of interesting, one thing is difficult to distinguish, but perhaps one of the central dialogues is important - "Unity through service: exploits of the heroes of the Fatherland": Yuri Bashmet (Hero of Labor), rescuer Vladimir Legoshin, cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky, pilot Damir Yusupov (the same one that landed Airbus with failed engines on the corn field), Colonel Rustam Sayfullin and mother-hero Natalia Avtayeva.

No less important was the meeting “The Great Victory: the common heritage of fraternal peoples” with veterans of the Great Patriotic War Eduard Smurago and Nikolai Imchuk.

Singer Tatiana Kurtukova closed the marathon with the block “Russia in song: traditions that sound”.

Of course, I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to attend such a large-scale event and once again see how united our people are and how big our country is.

Such emotions will help in the work, because they will be sources of inspiration for new ideas and their implementation together with children.
