Russians have become less likely to travel around the country
According to the results of nine months of 2026, citizens of the country made 66.5 million tourist trips, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) calculated. According to its Vice President Sergey Romashkin, this is 3.6% less than it was in the same period a year earlier. In January-September 2025, this indicator, on the contrary, grew by about 5% and reached almost 69 million, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said earlier at the XXI Congress of the Russian Union of Travel Industry.
