Lavrov predicted a new record in trade between Russia and China

By the end of 2026, the trade turnover between Russia and China may break its previous records. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, opening a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

In the first eight months of this year, we have a 25% increase in trade (with China). And this year, almost without a doubt, another record of our trade exchange will be broken, the Russian foreign minister said.
