In the Ministry of Industry and Trade allowed a decrease in sales of AvtoVAZ by 25%

The suspension of programs of state support of demand through preferential car loans to reduce the production and sales of AvtoVAZ until the end of 2026 by about a quarter, said Deputy Director of the Department for automotive industry and railway engineering of the Ministry of industry and trade Dmitry Klementyev, reports “Interfax”.

The suspension of programs of state support of demand through preferential car loans to reduce the production and sales of AvtoVAZ until the end of 2026 by about a quarter, said Deputy Director of the Department for automotive industry and railway engineering of the Ministry of industry and trade Dmitry Klementyev, reports “Interfax”.

"We understand that until the end of 2026, with the effect of preferential car loans, which it traditionally has on the passenger segment, sales and production rates of our leading automaker in the passenger segment - AvtoVAZ - can decrease by about 20-25%," Klementyev said at a meeting on the implementation of state support programs for demand in the automotive industry.
