The combination of supply reduction and demand acceleration is an undesirable combination for the economy, the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina said at a press conference. RBC is broadcasting.

She noted the predominance of pro-inflationary risks and their presence from both supply and demand

On the supply side, this is a slower recovery in capacity, on the demand side there are risks of increased inflation expectations, a prolonged continuation of the tight situation in the labor market and a larger budget deficit. But the most frustrating thing can be the combination of these risks, when both the supply of goods and services is shrinking and demand growth is accelerating. Especially when inflation is still high, she said.
