Agrarians of Belarus threshed more than 10.2 million tons of grain, including rapeseed and corn

According to operational data on the morning of October 19, 10 million 209 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed and corn. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In the Minsk region harvested 2 million 744 thousand tons, Grodno — 2 million 14 thousand tons, Brest — 1 million 899 thousand tons, Mogilev — 1 million 290 thousand tons, Gomel — 1 million 216 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 1 million 46 thousand tons.

Hay harvested 628,000 tons (88 percent of the plan), hay — 12 million 942 thousand tons (90 percent of the plan), silage — 16 million 684 thousand tons (81 percent of the plan). The total volume of harvested herbal feed in terms of feed units reached 8 million 502 thousand tons - 84 percent of the annual plan of 10 million 131 thousand tons. Corn on the silo removed from 84 percent of the area is 820 thousand hectares.

Sugar beets were removed from an area of 70 thousand hectares - 65 percent of the plan of 109 thousand hectares. 3 million 353 thousand tons of root crops were dug up with an average yield of 478 centners per hectare. Minsk region has dug up 1 million 252 thousand tons of beet, Grodno — 1 million 142 thousand tons, Brest — 591 thousand tons, Mogilev — 318 thousand tons, Gomel — 30 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 20 thousand tons.

Potatoes have been dug up 668 thousand tons with an average yield of 333 centners per hectare, which is 25 centners higher than last year. Minsk region has dug up 187 thousand tons of second bread, Mogilev — 155 thousand tons, Brest — 133 thousand tons, Grodno — 75 thousand tons, Gomel — 71 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 47 thousand tons.

Total vegetables grown in the open ground, the country collected 114 thousand tons with a yield of 320 centners per hectare, which is 21 centners higher than last year. 65 percent of the area has been cleared.

Raised chicks on the area of 232 thousand hectares, which is 16 percent of the plan of 1 million 436 thousand hectares. Accumulated mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus, potash) for finning and spring sowing 120 thousand tons of active substance, which is 56 percent of the plan.
