Agrarians of Belarus threshed more than 10.4 million tons of grain, including rapeseed and corn

According to operational data on the morning of October 23, 10 million 451 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed and corn. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

It is noted that in the Minsk region harvested 2 million 825 thousand tons, Grodno — 2 million 65 thousand tons, Brest — 1 million 936 thousand tons, Mogilev — 1 million 312 thousand tons, Gomel — 1 million 234 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 1 million 79 thousand tons.

Hay harvested 630,000 tons (88 percent of the plan), hay — 12 million 984 thousand tons (91 percent of the plan), silage — 17 million 697 thousand tons (86 percent of the plan). The total volume of harvested herbal feed in terms of feed units reached 8 million 792 thousand tons - 87 percent of the annual plan of 10 million 131 thousand tons. Corn on the silo removed from 90 percent of the area is 878 thousand hectares.

Sugar beets were removed from the area of 76 thousand hectares - 71 percent of the plan of 109 thousand hectares. 3 million 728 thousand tons of root crops were dug up with an average yield of 487 centners per hectare. Minsk region has dug up 1 million 388 thousand tons of beet, Grodno — 1 million 257 thousand tons, Brest — 666 thousand tons, Mogilev — 360 thousand tons, Gomel — 35 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 22 thousand tons.

Potatoes have been dug up 704 thousand tons with an average yield of 333 centners per hectare, which is 25 centners higher than last year. Minsk region dug up 204 thousand tons of second bread, Mogilev — 159 thousand tons, Brest — 136 thousand tons, Grodno — 80 thousand tons, Gomel — 74 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 51 thousand tons.

Total vegetables grown in the open ground, the country collected 131 thousand tons with a yield of 324 centners per hectare, which is 24 centners higher than last year. 72% of the area has been removed.

Raised chicks on an area of 337 thousand hectares, which is 23 percent of the plan of 1 million 436 thousand hectares. Accumulated mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus, potash) for finning and spring sowing 142 thousand tons of active substance, which is 67 percent of the plan.
