Agrarians of Belarus threshed more than 10 million tons of grain, including rapeseed and corn

According to operational data on the morning of October 16, 10 million 32 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed and corn. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In the Minsk region harvested 2 million 682 thousand tons, Grodno — 1 million 982 thousand tons, Brest — 1 million 866 thousand tons, Mogilev — 1 million 272 thousand tons, Gomel — 1 million 202 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 1 million 28 thousand tons.

Smell under the sowing of winter grain 1 million 577 thousand hectares, which is 105 percent of the plan of 1 million 500 thousand hectares. Winter grains for grain were sown 1 million 506 thousand hectares - 100 percent of the plan.

Hay harvested 627,000 tons (88 percent of the plan), hay — 12 million 912 thousand tons (90 percent of the plan), silage — 15 million 887 thousand tons (77 percent of the plan). The total volume of harvested herbal feed in terms of feed units reached 8 million 276 thousand tons - 82 percent of the annual plan of 10 million 131 thousand tons. Corn is removed from 79 percent of the area. 172 thousand tons of flax trusts with a yield of 39 centners per hectare were harvested.

Sugar beets were removed from the area of 65 thousand hectares - 60 percent of the plan of 109 thousand hectares. 3 million 111 thousand tons of root crops were dug up with an average yield of 473 centners per hectare. Minsk region dug up 1 million 165 thousand tons of beet, Grodno — 1 million 66 thousand tons, Brest — 543 thousand tons, Mogilev — 292 thousand tons, Gomel — 25 thousand tons, Vitebsk — 20 thousand tons.

Potatoes have been dug up 635,000 tons with an average yield of 334 centners per hectare, which is 25 centners higher than last year. Minsk region has dug up 176 thousand tons of "second bread", Mogilev - 151 thousand tons, Brest - 125 thousand tons, Grodno - 71 thousand tons, Gomel - 68 thousand tons, Vitebsk - 44 thousand tons.

Total vegetables grown in the open ground, the country harvested 107 thousand tons with a yield of 321 centners per hectare, which is 21 centners higher than last year. 62 per cent of the area has been removed.

Raised cherries on the area of 174 thousand hectares, which is 12 percent of the plan of 1 million 436 thousand hectares.
