Since the beginning of March 2025, residents of the Tula region have issued more than 220 thousand applications for self-ban on loans and loans. This can be done in two ways - through the portal of public services or in the branch of the MFC, the measure itself is needed to protect against scammers who issue loans in someone else's name.
The restriction applies to consumer loans and loans in banks and microfinance organizations, but does not affect mortgages, educational and car loans. The ban can be introduced in whole or in part - for example, only for remote registration. It begins to act the day after the record in the credit history and is stored indefinitely.
It is allowed to issue a self-prohibition only on oneself: for a relative or another person - it is impossible, even with a power of attorney.
To submit through the State Services, a confirmed account, a TIN and a strengthened qualified electronic signature will be required, and the decision is made within two working days. You can remove the restriction at any time through public services or the MFC, and then, if necessary, install again.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs warned Tulyaks about the consequences of hacking an account on “State Services”. Fraudsters can issue a loan or microloan to the victim, register an electronic SIM card and sell personal data.
