The fastest people in the Vologda region find work residents of the Verkhovaz and Tarnog districts

The average term of employment of unemployed Vologda residents in the first nine months of 2026 was 2.6 months. This was reported in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. A few years ago, this figure reached almost four months.

The fastest work is found by residents of the Verkhovaz and Tarnog districts. On average, they cope in a month and a half. In Vologda and Cherepovets, work can be found in two to three months.

Employment services work closely with employers. Specialists conduct job fairs, job selection taking into account the skills of the applicant, career guidance activities. This reduces the time required to find a job.

From January to September 2026, 41,468 jobs were claimed at the regional vacancies bank. The most popular are working professions – about 60% of proposals.
