Chelyabinsk for the month issued consumer loans more than 8 billion rubles

The National Bureau of Credit Histories tracked the dynamics of consumer loans. Analytics for September 2026 showed that in the Chelyabinsk region this figure is falling.

For the first month of autumn, Chelyabinsk residents were issued consumer loans worth 8.1 billion rubles. This is 8% less than the August figure. At the moment, among the thirty regions leading in this segment of lending, the Chelyabinsk region ranks 11th in terms of consumer loans issued.

Analysts note that the issuance of consumer loans across the country decreased slightly in September, although it was not at a very high level. Cash in Russia issued 352 billion rubles, for the month the indicator decreased from 9.9%. The reason is the same – with a low desire of banks to take risks, the Central Bank’s policy to cool the credit market is also pressing on the market.

Earlier on the topic: In the Chelyabinsk region reduced the issuance of retail loans.
