The head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev at an operational meeting summed up the road season and outlined priorities in the development of the transport infrastructure of the region.
According to the head of the republic, the volume of the Road Fund this year increased by 2.8 billion rubles and reached a record level of 11.8 billion rubles. Significant support – 6.2 billion rubles – the region receives within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
“By the end of the season, we will have refurbished about 600 km of roads, including both quality asphalt pavements and critical dirt driveways. Also, 10 km of new routes are being built and six key bridges are being repaired, including the Gagarinsky, Kalininsky and Moscow bridges in Cheboksary, said Oleg Nikolaev.
At the same time, the head of the region drew attention to the unsatisfactory state of municipal roads: only about 40% of more than 10 thousand kilometers of local networks are in the regulatory state. In this regard, Oleg Nikolaev instructed the heads of municipalities to conduct a detailed analysis of problem areas and prioritize their work.
Therefore, the conversation with the heads of districts today was substantive. The road season is on the finish line, and every weathery day is now worth its weight in gold. Justifications in the style of “failed” do not intend to take. I instructed each municipality to make a detailed analysis, raise all the sore spots and specifically set priorities. Residents need normal, safe roads to their homes
