In the free economic zone “Minsk” has developed a development strategy until 2030, which involves attracting investment.

Minsk Free Economic Zone has developed a development strategy until 2030, which involves attracting investment, increasing industrial production, increasing exports by 25% and creating new jobs. This was told by the head of the administration of the FEZ "Minsk" Anatoly Kalinin, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".
A. Kalinin noted that not only the system of benefits, but also developed infrastructure is important for residents of the Minsk FEZ. This year, BYN 5.8 million was allocated for this purpose.
- Currently, an audit of territories is being carried out, where it is planned to exclude a significant part of unused and unpromising territories. This work is expected to be completed in 2026. For sustainable growth and increasing the investment potential of satellite cities, we propose the inclusion in the SEZ of new territories of satellite cities - Smolevichy, Druzhnoy and others, the head of the FEZ administration SB.BY quotes.
Fanipol already has a successful experience: more than 1.6 thousand jobs were created at 14 enterprises. Five more projects are under construction with investments over BYN 20 million. In the future, more than 8 thousand jobs are planned to be created here.
According to Kalinin, investors are increasingly looking for ready-made rental sites that can be created in 1-1.5 years. In the Minsk region, the concept of industrial park development has already been agreed, for which three sites have been identified: Prilesye (20 hectares), Korolyshchevichi (9 hectares) and Western (15 hectares). Design and estimate documentation is currently being developed.
A development strategy until 2030 has been developed for the Minsk FEZ. Its goals are to attract investment, increase production, create new jobs, build engineering and transport infrastructure. In addition, the projected growth of industrial production and investment in fixed assets will increase exports of goods by 25% and increase tax revenues to the budget by 1.6 times.
- I believe that for the development of free economic zones, it is imperative to develop and adopt at the government level a state program for the development of free economic zones in the Republic of Belarus until 2035. I am confident that the creation of innovative and export-oriented industries in the SEZ will contribute to the development of the economy in the country and significantly improve the welfare of the people, Kalinin said.
