Ivanovo residents counted guests of this year

The area remains the focus of tourists.

People come here not only from neighboring regions, but also from far corners of the country, as well as abroad.

Special attention among tourists is given to events that have gathered almost 400 thousand guests since the beginning of the year. For several years, the festival “Russian Christmas” in Shuya has been popular. Retro trains, exhibitions, Christmas Miracle Park and fabulous installations gathered more than two hundred guests. More than 60,000 people attended the events of the First Avant-garde Factory in just three days.

Among the most popular summer events are “Uvodfest” to the 155th anniversary of the regional center, “Read – Rest” and “Russian Venice”, “Feast of Russian Traditions” and the gastro festival “Onion-ray”.

This year, media, including international ones, paid special attention to the region. Ivanovo and Ples visited the leading news agencies of China “Xinhua”. The film crew of the production center “Ichtis” from Serbia got acquainted with Shuya, Paleh, Yurievets and Gavrilov Posad and the regional capital. Popular bloggers from China and Japan studied Ivanovo avant-garde, gastronomic delights and crafts.
