How the Voronezh region strengthens the fight against illegal employment

The government of the Voronezh region held a meeting of the Commission on combating illegal employment, which was held by Deputy Governor Igor Lotkov. The event was attended by representatives of regional ministries, as well as federal law enforcement and supervisory agencies.

According to the Minister of Labor and Employment of Population Maya Mandrykina, over the past period of 2026, 970 employers were studied at meetings of working groups and commissions of various levels, in whose activities there were signs of using informal work. According to statistics, most often in the field of view of the commissions were enterprises in the field of trade.

During the meeting, the materials of the three problem enterprises and the explanations of their managers were considered.

- We need to look for new forms of interaction with employers who have signs of illegal employment, use a variety of tools to encourage them to perform their duties, commented Igor Lotkov.

Deputy head of Voronezh Sergey Glazyev reported on measures to combat shadow employment in the municipality. The city-wide working group was formed at the end of 2025. During its work, it was possible to attract significant additional receipts of insurance premiums and protect the labor rights of many citizens.
