Lipetsk region was among the leaders of the rating “ECG-region” in the CFD

The Lipetsk region took the second place among the subjects of the Central Federal District in the ECG-region rating in 2026.

The study was prepared by the RAEX agency – it assesses the contribution of regions to the achievement of the national development goals of the country. This was reported in the government of the Lipetsk region.

The list of regions of the Central Federal District in terms of achieving national sustainable development goals this year was headed by the Smolensk region. The second and third places were shared by the Lipetsk and Ryazan regions, respectively.

Within the framework of the national standard and regional initiatives in the Lipetsk region, the practice of using the business reputation index - ECG rating - as a criterion for assessing the qualifications of procurement participants continues to develop. The methodology includes comprehensive scoring according to official data and questionnaires, which allows objectively taking into account environmental, personnel and state aspects of the activities of procurement participants.

This approach directly affects the quality of contract execution and increases the efficiency of procurement procedures: customers are able to rely not only on price offers, but also on the reputation characteristics of suppliers.

The ECG-Region rating assesses how far the subjects of the Federation are moving towards national sustainable development goals. It is based on environmental, personnel and state components, hence the abbreviation ECG. For the Lipetsk region, the second place in the Central Federal District confirms the consistent work of the region to introduce reputational criteria in the procurement system and achieve indicators of national projects.
