Lukashenko urged to increase trade with the Bryansk region above $ 1 billion
Among the main exports of Belarus are agricultural machinery, petroleum products and food.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko proposed to increase the volume of mutual trade with the Bryansk region to a billion dollars and exceed this figure. He said this at a meeting in Minsk with the Governor of the region Yegor Kovalchuk on October 20.
According to the Belarusian leader, the parties have approached the target mark, but have not yet reached it. According to TASS, Lukashenko urged to set the task of overcoming the threshold of $ 1 billion.
In the first eight months of 2026, trade between the parties grew by 11% and amounted to $582 million. Among the main exports of Belarus are agricultural machinery, petroleum products and food.
At the meeting, Lukashenko also thanked the leadership of the Bryansk region for supporting Belarusian citizens who suffered as a result of drone attacks. He said that Minsk is ready to provide the region with the necessary assistance.
As part of Kovalchuk’s working trip to Belarus, a visit to the Minsk Automobile Plant, as well as the Amkodor-Semash and MAV enterprises are planned.
