Ministry of Finance: the sale of foreign currency government bonds started in Belarus

The Treasury Department has begun placing the 11th and 12th issues of US dollar-denominated government bearer bonds for individuals. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Finance, writes sb.by.

The accommodation period is until September 10, 2027. The income rate is 2.7% per annum. The term of circulation is two years, repayment is from September 10, 2028. The denomination of one bond of the 11th issue is $ 1,000, the 12th issue is $ 5 thousand. Both residents of Belarus and non-residents can buy.

The Ministry of Finance warned that early redemption of government bonds is not provided.

The Ministry of Finance of Belarus organized consultations on the EFSD strategy for 2027-2031
