The visit of the delegation of Minsk to Penza, dedicated to the celebration of the 363rd anniversary of the founding of this Russian city.

The visit of the delegation of Minsk to Penza, timed to celebrate the 363rd anniversary of the founding of this Russian city, took place from September 11 to 13. According to the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”, the central events of the trip were a meeting with the Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko and the official reception of the mayor of Penza Oleg Denisov.

The program of the visit began with an acquaintance with the cultural and historical heritage of the region, but the main emphasis was placed on the economy, maintenance and improvement of the urban environment. The partnership between the Partizansky district of Minsk and the administration of Penza is based on the Agreement concluded in April 2025, and today the parties demonstrate a steady growth in the volume of mutual trade. Traditionally, passenger, agricultural and municipal machinery, industrial equipment and food products are exported from Minsk, and the basis of imports are Penza furniture, agricultural products and metal products. A separate important item on the agenda was the negotiations on expanding the supply of products of the Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V.I. Kozlov. The parties discussed in detail the needs of the Penza industrial and energy sectors in high-quality Belarusian equipment.
The capital delegation included First Deputy Head of Administration of Partizansky District Denis Captain, Director of UE "Zelenstroy Partizansky district of Minsk" Vitaly Veselov and Deputy General Director of JSC "METZ named after V.I. Kozlov" Alexander Prokhorov.

- For us, Penza is a strategic and reliable partner. The current visit is a great opportunity not only to congratulate our colleagues on the holiday, but also to outline new economic projects aimed at diversifying our exports.
In addition, on the sidelines of the festive events, the delegation of Minsk held a series of productive bilateral negotiations with the leadership of the administrations of Beslan, Samara, Ulyanovsk and Ryazan. The parties considered the inter-municipal exchange of experience in road management, landscaping and landscape design, where Minsk specialists shared their best practices.
- Comfortable urban environment directly affects the quality of life of people. Minsk has vast experience in the field of improvement and road management. At such meetings, the best solutions for the sustainable development of territories are born in a lively dialogue. We not only pass on our experience, but also carefully study the achievements of Russian experts – this is an absolutely mutual and useful process, said the First Deputy Head of the Partizan District Administration.
