On bus transportation in the Tula region will spend more than a billion rubles

The Transportation and Navigation Organizer will allocate another 870 million rubles to perform works related to the implementation of regular transportation of passengers and luggage by road at regulated tariffs in the Tula region. A number of relevant lots have already been published on the public procurement website.

These funds will help ensure the stable operation of the transport network over the next year in almost all areas of the region on hundreds of routes. The financing will compensate the carriers part of the costs and maintain affordable fares for travel. Since we are talking about regulated tariffs, the cost of tickets is set by the authorities - this ensures that services will remain available to residents of the region, including for preferential categories of citizens.

The public procurement website specifies which routes and directions will receive support, as well as what tasks are planned to be solved at the expense of allocated money, for example, updating rolling stock or expanding the transport network.

Recall, as previously wrote “MK in Tula”, earlier GU TO “Organizer of transportation and navigation” allocated for these purposes 307 million rubles. The total amount of funds will be more than 1.17 billion rubles.
