682.5 billion rubles will be allocated to the state program “Development of Education” in 2027

Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented in the State Duma the main parameters of financing the industry for the next three years, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Pskov region told MK in Pskov.

The amount of funds under the state program will be: in 2027 – 682.5 billion rubles, in 2028 – 686 billion rubles, in 2029 – 696.7 billion rubles. The Minister noted that funding will continue to grow, and funds will be directed not only to the work of the education system, but also to its further development.

Key directions for 2027 were distributed as follows: 132.1 billion rubles — payments for classroom leadership and supervision in colleges, 104.9 billion rubles — overhaul of schools, kindergartens and colleges, 79.7 billion rubles — free hot meals for students of grades 1-4, 37.7 billion rubles — construction of schools, 29.7 billion rubles — the work of advisers to directors for education.

One of the areas is artificial intelligence and information security. It is planned to send 500 million rubles annually to textbooks for grades 5–11. Sergey Kravtsov stressed that AI should help the development of the traditional education system, not replacing the teacher, and it is important for schoolchildren to tell not only about the possibilities of technology, but also about their risks.

In addition, the regions will annually receive 3.5 billion rubles for the re-equipment of physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science.
