For six fair days, the total cost of products imported to Tatarstan amounted to 743.7 million rubles. Sugar, flour and eggs are in high demand among buyers. Since the beginning of the agricultural fair season, 542.5 tons of sugar have been imported to the sites, which is 52% more than in the same period last year. Deliveries of flour reached 253.5 tons (+22%), and eggs - 853.6 thousand pieces (+3.3%). At the same time, in the last two weeks, the volume of deliveries of flour and eggs reached the maximum values since the beginning of the autumn fairs, said Marat Zyabbarov, head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The supply of other socially important products has also increased. Imports of beef increased by 17%, sausages - by 24, horse meat and lamb - by 53, hard cheeses - by 22%. Also increased the volume of cabbage, carrots, other vegetables, cereals, honey and milk.
The season of autumn agricultural fairs in Tatarstan started on September 12. The last fair will take place on December 27.
