Named the highest paid professions in the southern Urals

Grinders, masons and furniture collectors topped the ranking of working professions with the highest salary offers in the Chelyabinsk region. In some vacancies, the average amount approached 180 thousand rubles per month. Data for the third quarter of 2026 were presented by analysts of “Avito Work”.

In the first place were the grinders. Employers offered them an average of 177 thousand rubles a month. Over the year, the figure increased by 19%. These specialists are engaged in the processing of parts and blanks on grinding machines, polish the surfaces and check the quality of the finished product.

The masons are a little behind. The average salary offer for them was 175 thousand rubles, which is 17% higher than last year’s level.

The third line was taken by furniture collectors. They were offered an average of 139,060 rubles a month. Moreover, this profession from the regional top three turned out to be the most noticeable increase in pay – by 58% per year.

If you look at all-Russian statistics, turners lead. The average supply for them reached 209,081 rubles, an increase of 30% over the year. Next are surveyors with an indicator of 198,132 rubles and an increase of 61%.

Highly paid specialists in the country also included drywall workers, motorists, facades, masons and monoliths.

Employers are actively looking for workers. According to "Avito Work", the number of vacancies for drywall workers for the year increased by 128%, for monoliths - by 62%. There is also a shortage of specialists in construction.
