Novak assessed the prospects for the restoration of gas exports along the Nord Stream highways

Deputy head of the Russian Cabinet Alexander Novak touched upon the possibility of resuming the transportation of blue fuel along the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 highways. He shared his opinion during a conversation with the presenter Marina Kim on the air of the program “Solovyov Live”.

The official stressed that the technical basis for the resumption of energy exports to European countries along these routes remains to this day.

According to him, three of the four branches of the pipeline have been put out of operation due to terrorist acts and explosions. At the same time, one line remained intact, and it is quite possible to arrange the transportation of the resource through it. The implementation of this scenario completely depends on the desire of consumers and the position of European partners.

Earlier, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov expressed hope that as part of the investigation of the incident with the damage to the Nord Stream gas pipelines, both direct executors and customers of these sabotage actions will eventually be identified. He added that the identification of all the perpetrators is of fundamental importance for the Russian side.
