New season of “Funnels of Innovative Startups” starts in Kuban

In the Krasnodar Territory, the sixth season of the project “Funnel of Innovative Startups” is being prepared for launch. The program aimed at supporting developers, entrepreneurs and project teams is implemented within the framework of the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy”.

Over the five years of its existence, it has become a real growth point for Kuban innovators. More than 11,000 residents of the region took part in the project, and more than 1,000 developments were presented to the experts. The total revenue of the participating projects has already exceeded the mark of 296 million rubles. Thanks to the program’s ecosystem of hackathons, training events and conferences, teams were able to go all the way from idea to product launch, and entrepreneurs were able to successfully scale the business.

“It is important for us that participants test ideas in practice and find opportunities for growth. In the sixth season, we will continue to help the teams move towards the commercialization of developments, said Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexander Ruppel.

The new season starts on October 23 with an accelerator - this is the first stage of the program. Together with experts, participants will refine their products, test hypotheses and form working business models for market entry. Participation in all events "Funnels" is free, you can apply here.

The project has been operating since 2021. Its organizer is the Kuban Innovation Development Fund with the support of the regional department of business development and foreign economic activity. During this time, the program team conducted 36 hackathons and more than 300 training events, creating a sustainable infrastructure for the development of technological start-ups in the south of Russia, the press service of the Krasnodar Territory Administration reports.
