In the farms of the Grodno region, cherries are raised on almost 24 thousand hectares of arable land

Finning plowing is an important preparatory pre-sowing stage that allows you to solve several tasks at once, the main of which is the acceleration of spring sowing. In the Grodno region, this important technological stage has been completed on almost 24 thousand hectares. In the SEC named after Dayshchikov Grodno district, plowing began immediately after harvesting, and with the onset of cold weather only gaining momentum. To complete this process as soon as possible, full dedication of specialists and workers of the crop industry and all available equipment will be required.

Tractorist Vyacheslav Stanevsky has been working in the farm for the 14th year, now he is involved in applying organic fertilizers to the soil. His car goes down the field first, and behind it slowly and confidently moves tractor with a plow.

- It is clear that the picture is not very beautiful, but without organics, the land gradually loses its fertility, says Vyacheslav. It is this fertilizer that gives us stable grain yields. In general, I am ready to perform any task, at the time of harvest, I usually harvest haying for our animals. Two units of equipment are assigned to me - a tractor and a forage harvester. The main thing is to strictly follow the instructions of our agronomic service.

For 26 years now, the mechanizer Viktor Prigodich looks at the weather forecast from the early morning, comparing it with the real situation outside the window.

- We have such heavy clay lands, where it is better not to hang out after the rain, but to wait a little, the source says. If you can plow 30 hectares per day on an ordinary field, then at best 5 hectares can be mastered in this field. You need to understand: the faster you start to raise the chicks after cleaning, the sooner things go. The last hectares are always given especially hard, but this year the heavenly office allows you to observe the schedules of plowing. During work, I pay attention to safety, carefully examine the car for serviceability before going into the field. Periodically, it is necessary to replace the working organs of the plow, on such days I come much earlier to complete the whole plan in the dark and in time to enter the field. I love ploughing, its unhurried rhythm, when everything is rolled. In general, I used to give everything to the fullest, so that the earth would thank you a hundredfold for the efforts made.

In addition to soil preparation, SEC named after Dayshchikov cleans sunflower for grain, removes sugar beet and corn grain. The chief agronomist of the farm Dmitry Shintar has no doubts that in all fields the cherry plowing will have time to produce by the planned date:

- The rise of cherries is an important agrotechnical stage, allowing in the spring to focus only on cultivation, application of nitrogen fertilizers and start direct sowing of spring crops. Currently, it is important to observe the introduction of norms of organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as during plowing, carefully align complex areas of arable land. Here it is really important not to be late with the work, otherwise in the spring these carbonate lands will remain a solid block. Nevertheless, these are the most fertile areas suitable for the cultivation of sugar beet and other crops, for which we get the best yield. Therefore, immediately smell the freed fields, so that this process is completed as early as possible.

- Chiab in the region is raised on an area of almost 24 thousand hectares, and this process is underway in all farms in the region along with the introduction of organic and mineral fertilizers - potassium and phosphorus. In parallel, corn is harvested on a silo. More than 80.5 thousand hectares of almost 112 thousand hectares were harvested, 2 million 700 thousand tons of silage were obtained with a yield of 335 centners per hectare, which is 72 percent of the plan. Corn is also harvested for grain, 134.5 thousand tons have already been threshed with a yield of 109 centners per hectare. The gross harvest of corn for grain is expected to be at the level of 500 thousand tons, for silage - 3 million tons. Agrarians of the region actively remove potatoes from 2.6 thousand hectares allocated for this crop. Almost 72 thousand tons have already been dug up with a yield of 313 centners per hectare. Another valuable root crop, daily exported from the fields, is sugar beets, which received 1 million 24 thousand tons, which is more than 60 percent of the plan. The yield is also pleasing - 597 centners per hectare.
