From a million tons of beets to corn: Belarusian farms do not lose pace
Belarusian farms are moving to corn harvesting: the sustainability of the results is ensured by technology, discipline and qualified personnel.

The first million tons of sugar beets have already been removed, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. The average yield, like sugar, is high.
The pace of cleaning is higher than last year. The same goes for most other crops this season. Competent management, strict technological and labor discipline, quality of personnel, decent motivation of work - bring results. The harvest is still going on, but no one intends to slow down, despite the successes.
Sergey Penyaz, director of the Kozlovici-Agro farm: 20,000 tons of grain were ground. And 80 centners per hectare to get on our lands - it costs a lot. Plus, there were good months, we sold up to 80 tons of milk. That's $100,000 every day in the account.”.
The grain has already been removed, now it is important to cope with the corn harvest. The weather was not bad, but the weather was a surprise. However, technology helps to keep the bar high.
But most importantly, of course, people. Infrastructure, decent salaries, comfortable working conditions – all this is already in many farms. It attracts specialists who are able to jointly ensure the food security of the country.
