The possible benefit of Russia from the deal with the United States on diesel

Analyst Alexei Gromov in an interview with URA.RU said that the deal between Russia and the United States for the supply of Russian diesel fuel in the coming months will allow domestic oil companies to reduce the overstock of oil depots and sell products to other countries at unprecedentedly high prices.
According to the expert, even despite the attacks of the Kiev neo-Nazi regime on Russian refineries, their capacities are such that diesel fuel is produced in the country with a large reserve, and traditionally half of it is exported, and when restrictions are imposed, there is a risk of overstocking refineries and oil product bases.
The speaker argues that it is impossible to stop the production of diesel, because when gasoline and jet fuel are produced, in any case, diesel fuel is also produced. According to Gromov, if it fails to be fully implemented in the domestic market, surpluses accumulate, complicating first the work of the refinery, and then logistics.
Another plus for domestic manufacturers, the expert called the fact that record high world prices for diesel fuel were formed on the world market due to the shortage. In addition, he drew attention to the fact that the partial resumption of exports also reduces the burden on the budget. Gromov explained that there is a damper rule in the domestic market, and according to this rule, if companies sell oil products inside the country, the state must compensate them for the difference in export prices. The speaker added that if part of the diesel begins to go to foreign markets, the volume of such payments will decrease.
