Plans for the development of the 50th kilometer of the Novorizhskoe highway canceled by the authorities of the Moscow region

The government of the Moscow region decided to cancel the previously approved project of planning the territory, which provided for the creation of a large roadside complex on Novorizhskoye highway. The relevant resolution has already been published on the official portal of the regional authorities.

According to the document, the changes affect the site located in the urban district of Istra, near the village of Petrovsky. We are talking about the territory along the federal highway M-9 "Baltia" on the segment from the 50th kilometer of the 313th meter to the 51st kilometer of the 810th meter (on the right and left sides of the road).

Initially, in 2017, the project envisaged a large-scale development of this zone. In particular, it was planned to place parking lots for freight transport, petrol stations, a public business center, trading enterprises, a hotel complex and other roadside service facilities. These plans have now been officially cancelled.
