Rosseti Center 2.5 times increased the capacity of the 35 kV substation in the Yaroslavl region

The branch of Rosseti Center - Yarenergo completed the reconstruction of the 35 kV substation. The power center is located in an energy-deficit district and provides electricity to 19 large settlements, industrial enterprises, two kindergartens and housing and communal facilities.

The modernization of the substation allowed to increase its capacity to 20 MVA - the figure increased by 2.5 times. The key step was the replacement of two power transformers with a capacity of 4 MVA for 10 MVA each. All used equipment is Russian-made.

In addition to updating the main equipment, specialists performed a set of related works: reconstructed the foundations, as well as modernized oil-receiving devices. It is important that all activities were carried out without limiting the electricity supply to consumers.
