Ryazan business increased the volume of loans in microfinance organizations

Microfinance organizations registered in the Ryazan region issued loans to customers for 295 million rubles for the first six months of 2026. The total volume of microcredit increased by 3% compared to the same period last year, the press service of the regional branch of the Bank of Russia reported.

More than half of the amount – 155.6 million rubles – was attracted by individual entrepreneurs, another 128.3 million rubles were received by legal entities. “The volume of their lending grew, in particular due to the expansion of issuances to sellers on marketplaces,” the regulator’s press service explained.

Against the background of business support, lending to the population decreased by 62.5%, to 11 million rubles. The decrease in the retail segment is caused by regulatory measures, in particular, tightening the calculation of the debt load indicator. From October 1, clients of MFIs are prohibited from having more than two expensive loans with a full loan cost above 200% per annum.
