On average, how much money does Chelyabinsk borrow through consumer loans

The National Bureau of Credit Histories calculated the average size of consumer credit of Russians in September and made the top of the regions.

Chelyabinsk region in the top 30 is located on the 14th place. The average size of consumer credit in the region in the first month of autumn amounted to 150.5 thousand rubles. Compared to the situation in September last year, the indicator decreased by 9.4% (minus almost 16 thousand rubles).

The situation is similar in neighboring regions. In the Sverdlovsk region — 154.4 thousand rubles (minus 10.2%), Bashkortostan — 150.4 thousand rubles (minus 7.4%). In general, the size of consumer credit in September was equal to 162.9 thousand rubles (minus 11.2%). Experts explain the tendency to decrease the high requirements of banks to the credit histories of borrowers.

Chelyabinsk residents for the month issued consumer loans for more than 8 billion rubles.
