This was announced at public hearings on the budget by Deputy Governor of the NAO – head of the Department of Finance Sergey Mikhailov. He presented a draft law on the district budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028 and 2029.
The discussion was attended by deputy governors and heads of regional executive bodies, deputies of the Assembly of Deputies of the NAA and members of the public.
In the draft law of the district, the main parameters of the budget for 2027 are 24.4 billion rubles of income, expenses are 28.2 billion rubles. The social sector accounts for 58% of expenditures. These include education, health, social policy, culture and sports. In other sectors of the economy, the largest percentage of expenditure falls on road, transport, agriculture and fisheries, housing and communal services and national issues.
- The main principle is that the budget should meet the needs of the people and ensure the development of the district. Therefore, the main expenses are traditionally aimed at social obligations to our residents, support for participants of the SVO and families with children, the completion of construction and repair of social facilities. It is important that every resident of the district could get acquainted with the draft budget, ask questions and make their proposals. Now we have to work together with deputies and relevant commissions: proposals and possible amendments will be considered in detail, said Irina Gekht, Governor of the NAA.
The draft budget will be considered in the first reading in late November, and its final approval is scheduled for December.
