Employees of Gazprom Neft Moscow Oil Refinery took part in the filming of a project dedicated to workers and engineers in the oil industry. It was prepared by the popular online science magazine Energia+ and the Gigarama media laboratory.
The focus is on professions whose representatives work in the fields, oil refineries and petrol stations.
One of the first videos with the help of parallel installation and polyscreens shows the work of operators of process plants that directly control the oil refining process. Other heroes of the project were laboratory technicians, electricians, gas station operators, geologists, drivers and IT specialists.
Chief editor of Energia+ Stanislav Butenko noted that about the working professions of the oil industry almost do not remove high-quality visual content – and without it, the profession simply does not have a modern image in the mind of the viewer.
“The oil industry is much talked about through technology, history of discovery, or the products it produces.” But behind this there is almost no person in a particular workplace, said Konstantin Taran, director of the Gigarama studio.
“Some still present work in production as unpromising and monotonous, which is not the case for a long time. And the project, where I was lucky to become one of the participants, clearly proves this, said the operator of the MNPZ Ivan Boyun.
