The National Bureau of Credit Histories published the results of a study on the average term of car loans in different Russian regions. The Chelyabinsk region ranks 13th in the country in this issue.

The cut, which was made in September 2026, showed that the average term of car loans in the Chelyabinsk region is 6.18 years. Over the year, the indicator increased by several months - plus 9.9%.

It should be noted that Chelyabinsk residents are ahead of the all-Russian values of this indicator, which are equal to 5.96 years. By the way, they are also growing - plus 11% per year. Experts believe that the increase in loan terms is caused by the fact that banks are trying to control the indicator of the debt load of borrowers, as they do not want to take excessive risks.
