It became known from what amount begin for the Russians “large purchases”

“Expensive” and “cheap” are subjective concepts: they directly depend on the level of income and the current financial situation in a person’s life. In the fall of 2026, Russians know the value of money, according to a survey conducted by an online financial platform. For 38% of respondents, a large purchase begins with 10,000 rubles. Another 31% call the threshold 30,000 rubles, 17% - 70,000, and 14% - 150,000 rubles.

At the same time, serious payment of expenses is not yet necessary. About 23% of respondents do not prepare at all in advance and pay for large purchases from the salary, making a decision at the moment. Credit or installments are chosen by 14%, use a safety cushion - 8%, borrow from loved ones - 7%.
