Agrarians of Brest region came to the finish line in harvesting corn for green mass

Over the weekend, which was moderately warm and almost without precipitation, the farmers of Brest region reached the finish line in harvesting corn for green mass. The economies of Stolinsky, Drogichinsky and Zhabinkovo districts were the first in the region to put an end to this work. On the morning of October 19, about 5 percent of the uncut areas remained in the region.

Chief agronomist of JSC "Plemzavod "Mukhavets" Brest district Dmitry Kovalchuk. Silos in the southwestern region harvested 3 million 958 thousand tons. About 10 to 12 percent are still short of the planned volume, but agricultural organizations have a solid rolling stock from last season. It is consumed first, and then will use the feed of the new crop.

In JSC "Plemzavod "Mukhavets" Brest district intend to work under this scheme. The silos in the storage were laid more than 11 thousand tons. During the cleaning, representatives of the large and friendly family dynasty of Suprunovich distinguished themselves: the brothers Vitaly, Vyacheslav and Alexei, as well as their nephews Roman and Alexander.

The eldest of the brothers Vitaly Suprunovich worked at the forage-harvesting complex, middle Vyacheslav, along with his nephews on MTZ tractors with trailers, took the green mass to the trenches, the younger Alexei leveled and trampled the juicy mass on the Amkodor.

- The founders of the dynasty were our parents, who worked for many years in the Mukhavets, raised nine children, says Vitaly Suprunovich. Our sister Tatiana worked as a machine milking operator on the farm, now she is on a well-deserved rest. Another sister Valentina works in the sanatorium "Sunny" Brest district. Their sons, like us, decided to become mechanizers. So our family dynasty is very representative. Hopefully, over time, it will become even bigger.

In JSC "Plemzavod "Mukhavets" now remove corn for grain. High rates of its threshing gained in general in Brest region. Oksana Kostyuchik, Head of the Crop Production and Fodder Production Department of the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, said that as of the morning of October 19, 58 percent of the total wedge exceeding 60 thousand hectares had been removed:

The agrarians of the region collected almost 220 thousand tons of corn grain with an average yield of 72 centners per hectare. The highest yield of this culture is in Baranovichi district: 100 centners per hectare. In Lyakhovichi district, 94 centners of grain are received per circle, in Pruzhansky - 93.

In Stolinsky district, corn harvesting for grain was completed, adding 16.2 thousand tons of crop to the record threshing of grain pikes. First Deputy Chairman of the Stolin District Executive Committee - Head of the Ricelkhozprod Vasily Litvinkevich said that according to the results of the summer harvest, almost 120 thousand tons of grain were poured into the bins, and the yield reached 53.7 centners per hectare:

- Our farmers take care of the harvest next year. The weather is not always favorable, but people contrast its whims with diligence and professionalism.
