Tatarstan will allocate 950 million rubles to subsidiary farms
From 2027, Tatarstan will increase the financing of personal farms to 950 million rubles

From 2027, Tatarstan will increase the financing of personal subsidiary farms to 950 million rubles. The funds are laid in the republican budget, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov said at a briefing in the Government House.
According to him, the subsidy for the maintenance of one cow will grow from 6.3 thousand to 10 thousand rubles. Such a step should deter the number of livestock in the private sector from further reduction. At the same time, the republic introduces a new direction - support for the construction of cattle fattening farms. The horse breeding program also includes subsidies for the purchase and maintenance of horses in subsidiary farms. The Minister noted that such measures do not exist in other regions of the country.
Support for the purchase of commodity bulls launched this year also gave a certain effect. For the first time in recent years, it has stopped the decline in the number of livestock in the private sector. Over the last quarter of this year, an increase in cattle by 1.4 thousand heads was recorded, and animals were tried to buy inside the republic, not outside it. For the participants of the special military operation, there is a grant “Agromotivator”: nine people have already received funds to launch their own business for fattening livestock, vegetable farming, poultry, breeding commercial fish and growing fodder crops.
1.8 billion rubles were allocated to support small forms of management this year, of which 1.4 billion have already been mastered. The total amount of funds for the agro-industrial complex is 16.6 billion rubles, including 4.2 billion from the federal budget. Despite the limited budget, measures to support agricultural producers in the country are preserved in full. At the moment, farms have already been allocated 11.1 billion rubles, which is 67% of the annual limit. By the end of October, it is planned to send about 2 billion rubles.
In addition, farmers received financial support in the form of loans: 248 preferential short-term loans for a total of 32.8 billion rubles and 61 investment loans for 17 billion rubles. These measures correspond to the objectives of the national project “Technological provision of food security”.
