Tatarstan has mastered only half of the funds for IVF on MHI

According to the report of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of Tatarstan, presented at a meeting of the State Council Committee on Budget, the number of in vitro fertilization procedures paid for by the state has decreased in the republic. The head of the department, Alsu Miftakhova, noted that for eight months of this year, only 56% of the planned 334 million rubles for the program were sold. For such a long period, this figure is estimated to be quite low.

As for the prospects, for 2027, the draft budget includes 350 million rubles for IVF. However, according to Miftakhova, these figures are preliminary and will be adjusted after the adoption of the federal program of state guarantees. The authorities do not rule out that the amount of funding can be increased.
