Tulauprador will spend 89 million rubles on the system of weight and size control

Tulauprador has announced a tender for the modernization of the weight and size control system on regional and inter-municipal roads of the Tula region. 88.9 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

The project is aimed at improving the efficiency of control over the movement of heavy and large-sized transport. The contract provides for the update of the current automated system of weight and size control (AS VGK). As part of the modernization, it is planned to ensure the uninterrupted operation of ten automatic control posts located on key sections of the region’s road network.

The main tasks of modernization include providing round-the-clock monitoring of the equipment condition, automatic recording of violations of weight and size parameters, prompt data transmission to regulatory authorities, information protection when interacting with external systems, maintaining the accuracy of all measuring instruments.

The control system will be equipped with modern modules capable of measuring not only the weight, but also the overall parameters of vehicles, recording violations and informing drivers about exceeding the permissible parameters. Special attention is paid to the cryptographic protection of the transmitted information.

The terms of the project are planned from December 2, 2026 to May 31, 2027. During this period, the contractor will provide not only maintenance of the equipment, but also its modernization in accordance with changes in legislation and road safety requirements.
