- I wanted us to talk frankly about our prospects for engine building and the maximum use of domestic engines for the production of our equipment. Therefore, the heads of our largest machine-building enterprises were invited. I would like to emphasize once again that today it is important for me to have a frank and objective conversation so that we understand what our capabilities are and what we can do to meet the goals outlined above. We must clearly understand how reliable our engineering is here. Therefore, today’s meeting is a domestic engine. What can we do? What can't we do? How will we move forward? the Head of Government emphasized at the beginning of the meeting.
Before the meeting, Oleksandr Turchin got acquainted with the production facilities of the Minsk Motor Plant, the progress of its modernization and development plans in order to increase the production of engines of a wider model range to cover the current demand of machine-building plants of the republic and export supplies.
