Smart technology, robotics: Gomel region and Jilin province of China will cooperate in mechanical engineering

The delegation of the Gomel region continues its work in Jilin Province of the People's Republic of China. Today, representatives of business circles of the southeastern region of the country held talks at the sites of the Jilin Group of Intelligent Agricultural Equipment and Jilin Group of General Machine Building, writes sb.by.

During a visit to Jilin Group of Intelligent Agricultural Equipment, Gomel industrialists got acquainted with the production capabilities of the enterprise. It specializes in the production of intelligent tractors, self-propelled combine harvesters, seedlings, unmanned agricultural machinery, electronic control systems, work operations recognition systems based on artificial intelligence. The company is also engaged in research and development, implementation and maintenance of agricultural equipment. The meeting resulted in the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Gomselmash Holding. One of the key areas of partnership between the two companies is the joint development of self-propelled combine harvesters with artificial intelligence systems with localization in Jilin province and the possibility of implementation both in China and in other countries.

The work on the sites of the Jilin Group of General Engineering was also effective. The company is a major supplier of world-class aluminum lightweight auto parts. The group includes seven industrial parks, more than twenty subsidiaries and joint ventures. It also has its own research center with the participation of European specialists. Manufacturing is robotic. At the meeting with the management of the company, it was discussed the exchange of technologies and trade and economic cooperation in mechanical engineering, metalworking, casting and forging of aluminum profiles.
